Support Fire Relief

The Spokane wildfires have burned more than 8,000 acres. Nuestras Raíces is providing support to anyone impacted by the wildfires, with a special focus on removing language and cultural barriers that often prevent individuals and families from accessing emergency services, resources, and recovery assistance.
Right now, our Esperanza Program is accepting donations to support individuals and families impacted by the recent fires. Your generosity helps provide immediate assistance, including hot meals, clothing, hygiene items, essential supplies, and other critical resources for those rebuilding after this devastating event.

American Red Cross Shelter
An emergency shelter is available at the Spokane Convention Center for individuals and families displaced by the fires. 
Pets are welcome.
No registration or phone call is required—simply arrive at the shelter

Spokane Fire Department CARES Program
The CARES (Community Assistance Response Team) Program is available to help individuals who are vulnerable or have additional needs due to the fires. The team can assist with connecting people to resources and support services. 509-625-7035 or 509-625-7060

Community support makes a difference. You can:

Help us get the donations out to the community that need it
Volunteer to help sort, organize, and distribute donations to families impacted by the fires.
