Empowering Caregivers,
Bringing Light to the Journey

Aurora, named for the dawn that brings light after darkness, was inspired by Nathan and Kathryn, the children of parent caregivers Fernanda Mazcot and Kristina Smith.
Through raising children with disabilities and complex medical needs, they experienced the isolation and emotional weight of caregiving firsthand—and created the support they once needed: guidance, understanding, and practical help for caregivers.

Peer Support / Coaching
Our peer support and coaching is led by parent caregivers who understand the journey firsthand. We offer ongoing support, practical guidance, and personalized coaching to help caregivers navigate challenges, build resilience, and improve the well-being of the entire family.
Resource Navigation
We help caregivers navigate disability and medical systems by connecting them with services, programs, and community resources that support their family’s needs.

Care Coordination
We help families navigate day-to-day caregiving with personalized care coordination, from building a caregiver guide to creating an accessible home and sharing practical in-home tips and strategies.
Emotional Support
We are proud to offer professional psychological support to caregivers in Spanish, to meet the needs of the Hispanic/Latinx community. Our team of compassionate professionals is here to listen and support you as you navigate the challenges of caregiving. We believe that by focusing on your emotional well-being, we can help improve your overall quality of life and ensure that you have the support you need to provide the best care possible.
