Fire Relief & Community Support

Nuestras Raíces is committed to supporting our community during this difficult time. We are providing resources and essential services for individuals and families impacted by the recent fires.

How We're Helping

  • Hot Meals: Tuesday 8/4/26 from 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM​

  • Clothing Bank: Open all week for those in need of clothing and basic essentials.

  • Resource Navigation: Our team can help connect you with additional community resources and support services.

Community Resources

American Red Cross Shelter

  • An emergency shelter is available at the Spokane Convention Center for individuals and families displaced by the fires. 

  • Pets are welcome.

  • No registration or phone call is required—simply arrive at the shelter

Spokane Fire Department CARES Program

  • The CARES (Community Assistance Response Team) Program is available to help individuals who are vulnerable or have additional needs due to the fires. The team can assist with connecting people to resources and support services. 509-625-7035 or 509-625-7060

How You Can Help

Community support makes a difference. You can:

  • Drop off donations of clothing, hygiene items, diapers, baby wipes, baby bottles, and other essential supplies at our center. 1214 E Sprague AVe. Spokane, WA 99202 (9AM to 6:30PM)

  • Help us get the donations out to the community that 

  • Volunteer to help sort, organize, and distribute donations to families impacted by the fires.

  • Help us spread the word by sharing our fire relief efforts with your friends, family, neighbors, and on social media so those in need know where to find support.
