LUNAA is a youth-led community where young people are encouraged to dream boldly, discover their strengths, and build the confidence, skills, and connections they need to shape their future.
Rooted in culture and community, LUNAA creates a space where youth can be fully themselves while being surrounded by mentors, peers, and opportunities that help them grow. Through our youth ambassadors, young people are not simply participants in the program—they help lead it, shape its direction, and carry its mission forward to the next generation.
LUNAA connects youth with academic scholarships, fellowships, internships, mentorship, leadership development, educational opportunities, and culturally responsive support. We work directly with high schools, colleges, universities, and community partners to make sure young people know that they have a place to turn for guidance, resources, and encouragement.
We believe every young person deserves someone who believes in their potential and a community that celebrates who they are.

Youth Voice & Leadership
Young people aren't just part of the conversation—they help lead it.
LUNAA empowers youth to speak up about the issues that affect their lives, families, schools, and communities. Through our youth ambassadors and leadership opportunities, young people are encouraged to use their voices, advocate for change, and mobilize their peers around issues that matter to them.
LUNAA is youth-led because young people should have a voice in shaping the future they will inherit.
Healing Together
​Support for Latinx and first-generation students.
Being the first in your family to navigate college or a new academic environment can come with challenges that are difficult to explain to others. Healing Together creates a space where students can talk openly about the pressures, obstacles, and experiences that come with being a first-generation student—and know that they are not alone.
Whether you need someone to listen, guidance navigating challenges, or additional support, LUNAA can connect you with a social worker and other trusted resources.

Understanding Gender & Sexuality
Through our Alianza initiative, we provide culturally responsive education and conversations about gender and sexuality in both English and Spanish, creating opportunities for parents and families to learn, ask questions, and better understand and support their loved ones who identify as LGBTQIA+.
Our goal is to create greater understanding while honoring culture, family, identity, and the experiences of each individual.
Youth-to-Youth Outreach

Through our Othello office and community outreach, LUNAA connects with youth who may be experiencing barriers, isolation, or other challenges through a peer-to-peer approach. Through our Spokane office, youth ambassadors help create connections based on shared experiences, trust, and understanding.
Sometimes, the person who can make the biggest difference is someone who simply understands what you're going through.
