About Us

Nuestras Raíces is a culturally and linguistically responsive community and behavioral health organization rooted in the belief that everyone deserves a place to belong, heal, grow, and thrive.

For generations, our communities have built families, businesses, traditions, and networks of support while navigating barriers to health, opportunity, housing, and economic stability. Nuestras Raíces exists to strengthen those communities by meeting people where they are and creating pathways to a more healthy, connected, and empowered future.

Our work brings together behavioral health, family support, youth development, cultural programming, housing, economic empowerment, resource navigation, and community engagement under one roof. We believe these areas are deeply connected. When a family has access to culturally responsive care, stable housing, economic opportunity, and a strong sense of belonging, individuals and communities are better positioned to thrive.

Our roots stretch back decades, growing from community-led efforts to support Hispanic and Latino families and businesses in the Inland Northwest. Today, that legacy continues through a growing organization serving people across Spokane and rural communities throughout Eastern Washington.

We are more than a service provider. We are a community partner, a place of belonging, and a bridge to opportunity.

Through every program, partnership, and investment, we are working toward a future where culture is honored, barriers are challenged, communities are strengthened, and every generation has the opportunity to thrive.
