UNION Youth Fútbol Club Shines at First FC Torneo Amistad-Copa “Mis Chavos” in Othello

Othello, WA — This past weekend, UNION Youth Fútbol Club proudly participated in its first-ever FC Torneo Amistad – Copa “Mis Chavos”, held at CBHA Field and Wahitis Elementary School in Othello, Washington. The club brought home two impressive trophies, marking a memorable debut at this community-centered youth soccer tournament.

More than just a competition, the event offered a unique opportunity to connect with the local Latino and Hispanic communities, who share a deep passion for a sport that transcends the field—it’s a cultural celebration.

Highlights of the Weekend:

A fantastic display of talent and sportsmanship was showcased by all involved, including teams from United FC Othello, Royal City FC, Sunnyside Dynamo, YMCA in Pasco, Universe Soccer Academy in Moses Lake, and Spokane Union FC.
Nearly 400 Kids participated: Young athletes showcased their amazing skills and enthusiasm.
Community Enjoyment: With delicious food vendors, hot dogs, and engaging tabling activities, it was a fun-filled 2-day event for everyone.
Our Union Fútbol team won First Place in the 9th category and Second Place in the under-11th category.
